Mounting Profile system

Required Height

The minimum height required for using a profile is 210cm. To hang the Wheelylifts at different heights, a minimum of 220cm and a maximum of 230cm is needed.

Installation of the Profile System

  1. Determine whether you want to hang the Wheelylifts at the same height or at separate heights.
    • If hanging at the same height, maintain a height of 50cm from the ground for the bottom of the lower profile. The distance between the upper and lower profiles should be 85.5cm in this case, measured from the top of the lower profile to the bottom of the upper profile.
    • If hanging at two different heights, higher to lower, assemble the brackets differently as shown in the image and video. The bottom profile should be hung at a minimum of 60cm; if your ceiling is over 230cm, a height of 70cm is recommended. The upper profile should be hung 73cm higher than the bottom profile, which places it at 143cm from the floor.
  2. Measure the correct height on the wall and drill holes for the wall bracket (1) for the bottom bracket. Once the profile is placed on the bottom bracket, also install a bracket at the top. Six brackets are used per profile (type 1406). One hole per bracket is sufficient, but you have a choice of 3 positions per bracket. Secure the bottom bracket to the wall with plug and bolt (2 and 3).
  3. Place the profile on the 2 secured brackets and insert the M8 plates (4) into the top of the profile to attach the brackets to the profile. Use an Allen key, screw, and washer (5) for this.
  4. Once the bottom brackets are secure, repeat the process at the top of the profile. Then, do the same for the upper profile.
  5. Once the upper profile is secured, insert the M6 plates (6) into the profile. Three plates per profile per Wheelylift.
    • If placing the Wheelylifts at one height, insert two plates into the lower sliding surface and one into the upper for each Wheelylift.
    • If hanging the Wheelylifts alternately, insert two plates into the lower sliding surface and one into the upper for the first Wheelylift, and reverse this for the next Wheelylift.
  6. Secure the bottom wall bracket to the profile using the M6 plates just placed, using the Allen key, screw, and washer (7) at the correctly measured position.
  7. Place the Wheelylift on the bottom bracket and screw it to the back of the Wheelylift (keep it flat against the profile to access this). Then, screw the upper wall bracket to the profile and to the back of the Wheelylift.
  8. Tilt the Wheelylift back perpendicular to the profile and assemble the arm according to the manual. Your Wheelylift is now ready for use.
